Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • ARRT (CT) or equivalent credential required
  • Minimum of one year experience as a CT Technologist
  • Proficiency in operating CT scanners and associated equipment
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Valid BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex CT imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation
  • Prepare and position patients according to established protocols
  • Ensure accurate documentation of scans and patient records
  • Monitor patients throughout the imaging process, responding to any concerns or emergencies
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning at all times
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
