As a CT/X-Ray Tech, you’ll work within a robust imaging department utilizing cutting-edge GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners, in a hospital renowned for high standards of patient care and technological innovation. Your role will include varied imaging duties, and you’ll rotate through CT, X-Ray, OR, Endo, and ED, gaining valuable cross-disciplinary experience. This is a 13-week travel opportunity featuring rotational call (one weekend every 4 weeks, plus weekday call), providing the perfect balance between exciting work and time to explore Nebraska’s hidden gems.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Rotational call: 1 out of every 4 weekends + weekday call
  • Varied shifts as determined by department supervisor
  • Weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Qualifications:

  • ARRT-CT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency operating GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners
  • Experience with X-ray or CT preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
  • Valid driver’s license (to verify travel radius compliance)
  • Compliance with hospital’s fingernail policy (no artificial nails)
  • Must not be employed in any capacity by CommonSpirit or affiliated entities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of imaging procedures covering CT, X-Ray, OR, Endo, ED
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure reliable, quality imaging and patient safety
  • Adapt to varied studies and tasks per the needs of a dynamic department
  • Participate in scheduled call rotations and department orientation
