Job Type Contract

Deliver high-quality patient care and advanced imaging as a CT Technologist, performing and supporting computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision. Utilize your expertise and certifications to independently manage CT exams and support diagnostic radiology while adhering to the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend is required

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology and CT
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment
  • Excellent patient communication and care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clearly explain CT examination procedures to patients and prepare them for scans
  • Review clinical data and requisitions; obtain additional medical history as needed
  • Prepare procedure rooms and replenish supplies as required
  • Set up and operate imaging equipment to perform high-quality CT scans
  • Administer intravenous contrast media; monitor patients for allergic reactions and provide immediate care if necessary
  • Assist radiologists with complex and sterile diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies
  • Apply radiation safety principles, including dose reduction and patient shielding
  • Resolve imaging exceptions and ensure all images are properly delivered and indexed in PACS and RIS
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, consistently demonstrating professionalism and respect for diversity
  • Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions in the medical record and radiology information system
