Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in CT and PET/CT imaging
• Experience setting up and operating advanced CT equipment
• Familiarity with patient transfers, safe lifting techniques, and immobilization
• Ability to prepare, administer, and monitor contrast media injections
• Current registry in compliance with regulatory agencies
• CPR certification; skilled in responding to emergency situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute computerized tomography (CT) procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare patients, review pertinent medical history, and verify patient identity
• Ensure accurate image capture, digital storage, and transfer per department standards
• Maintain daily calibration and equipment quality control, organizing repairs as necessary
• Safeguard patient and self from radiation, adhering to all state and departmental safety protocols
• Support radiologists and physician specialists during advanced imaging procedures
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked work environment
• Provide guidance and mentorship to new personnel when needed
• Participate in departmental quality assessment and improvement initiatives
