Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in CT and CT/PET imaging required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and software
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and CT/PET equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and protocol standards
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists on image interpretation and analysis
  • Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or inconsistencies
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control standards at all times
