Qualifications:
- Current certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent)
- Prior experience in CT and CT/PET imaging required
- Demonstrated proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and software
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and CT/PET equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and protocol standards
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists on image interpretation and analysis
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or inconsistencies
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control standards at all times
