Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in CT and PET/CT procedures to provide high-quality diagnostic services in a dynamic medical environment. Utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment, this position supports patient care teams by contributing crucial insights for both diagnosis and ongoing treatment management.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required; PET certification highly desired
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing CT and PET/CT imaging (hospital or clinical setting preferred)
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of routine and advanced CT and PET/CT scans as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Accurately calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to review images and provide pertinent clinical information
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality standards at all times
- Adhere to facility protocols, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards
