Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid credentials and current registration as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist
  • Demonstrated experience in performing advanced CT and PET/CT scans
  • Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
  • Proficiency with modern imaging equipment and associated healthcare technologies
  • Ability to assess patient needs, provide clear instructions, and ensure a comfortable environment
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Adherence to HIPAA and patient privacy regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Review images for quality and completeness while recognizing and alerting to variances
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation as required
  • Monitor equipment functionality and arrange for maintenance or troubleshooting as needed
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
