Qualifications:
- Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT required)
- Experience operating advanced CT and/or PET/CT equipment
- Familiarity with radiology information and PACS systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Previous hospital or imaging center experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and CT/PET imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- Ensure proper handling and storage of images in digital systems
- Monitor equipment performance, reporting issues for prompt resolution
- Support infection control and radiation safety practices at all times
