Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT required)
  • Experience operating advanced CT and/or PET/CT equipment
  • Familiarity with radiology information and PACS systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous hospital or imaging center experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and CT/PET imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of images in digital systems
  • Monitor equipment performance, reporting issues for prompt resolution
  • Support infection control and radiation safety practices at all times
