Step into a pivotal imaging role, utilizing advanced technology and expertise to deliver top-notch patient care. As a valued CT/PET Technologist, your proficiency in computed tomography and attention to detail will directly impact diagnostic accuracy and patient experience.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Five 8-hour day shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Demonstrated experience in CT and PET imaging
  • Previous work with a 64-slice GE Lightspeed VCT scanner highly preferred
  • Strong focus on patient safety and comfort, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Operate a GE Lightspeed VCT 64-slice CT scanner to capture clear, precise images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, thoroughly explaining the process and answering questions
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety procedures
  • Monitor imaging results and assist with troubleshooting equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records within the imaging department
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
