Qualifications:
- Current registration as a CT or CT/PET Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Proven experience performing general Radiology exams, including x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room cases
- Strong knowledge of PET/CT protocols, safety procedures, and patient care best practices
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and patient records
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough, high-quality CT and PET imaging studies as ordered by physicians
- Perform a wide range of radiology procedures such as fluoroscopy, general x-rays, and mobile imaging
- Prepare and position patients in accordance with safety guidelines and procedure requirements
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostics
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with regulatory standards for safety and patient confidentiality
- Support department needs during various shifts, adapting to changing priorities as necessary
