Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required; CT/PET experience highly desired
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT or CT/PET technologist
- Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shifts may be required, including occasional weekends or evening hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with a variety of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure high-quality images are produced for accurate patient diagnosis
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging exams, providing clear instructions and reassurance
- Operate sophisticated imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines
- Document procedures, patient information, and maintain accurate records within electronic systems
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
