Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required; CT/PET experience highly desired
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT or CT/PET technologist
  • Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible shifts may be required, including occasional weekends or evening hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with a variety of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure high-quality images are produced for accurate patient diagnosis
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging exams, providing clear instructions and reassurance
  • Operate sophisticated imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines
  • Document procedures, patient information, and maintain accurate records within electronic systems
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
