CT Technologist | San Antonio, Texas

Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional skilled in both CT and X-ray modalities. This contract position requires flexibility and technical expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 7:00am–7:00pm
• One overnight shift per month: 7:00pm–7:00am
• 1-2 weekends per month

Qualifications:

• Certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proven proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging
• Current, valid ARRT certification
• State licensure as required
• BLS certification
• Prior experience in a hospital imaging department preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations per physician orders
• Ensure accurate capture of images and proper use of imaging equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures while explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times
• Accurately process and upload images into the facility’s electronic health record system
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and other staff to deliver efficient patient care
• Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report maintenance needs promptly
• Follow established safety procedures and infection control standards
