Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide critical support in CT and X-ray diagnostic procedures within a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a rotating schedule that combines a blend of day and night shifts, providing versatility and a comprehensive clinical experience.

Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • One overnight shift per month: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • 1-2 weekends per month

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Demonstrated experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
  • Active state licensure as required for Radiologic Technologists
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment and digital PACS systems
  • Strong communication skills and patient-focused attitude
  • Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  • Previous hospital or acute care setting experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams on patients of varying acuity
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurate patient identification
  • Produce diagnostic images and assist physicians with prompt image interpretation
  • Maintain thorough documentation and manage imaging records
  • Provide compassionate, effective patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as assigned
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary clinical teams
