CT Tech CT Technologist in San Luis Obispo, CA

Experienced CT professionals seeking a dynamic opportunity will excel in this contract position working with advanced imaging equipment. The role requires utilizing your CT and x-ray experience within a fast-paced setting for a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts, evenings (Sunday–Wednesday)
• Call required

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Active California licensure
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy and IV certifications
• Proficiency operating Siemens 64 Somatom scanner
• Experience with x-ray imaging in clinical settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and x-ray scans according to physician orders and department protocols
• Operate Siemens 64 Somatom scanner efficiently, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging
• Exhibit expertise in contrast and IV procedures, with careful patient monitoring throughout exams
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and compliance standards
• Rotate on-call duties as scheduled to support department needs
