CT Tech CT Technologist in San Luis Obispo, CA

Step into a pivotal radiologic role with a 13-week contract, specializing in CT imaging on advanced Siemens 64 Somatom equipment. Schedule/Hours:

• 4 x 10-hour evening shifts (Sunday through Wednesday)
• Evening coverage with required on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Active certification with ARRT
• California Radiologic Technologist License
• Valid BLS certification
• Current Fluoroscopy permit
• IV certification
• Previous x-ray experience
• Familiarity with Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Acquire high-quality CT and x-ray images as ordered by providers
• Operate Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner with proficiency
• Administer IV contrast for imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Utilize fluoroscopy techniques as appropriate
• Respond to call-ins and collaborate cross-departmentally as needed
• Document procedures accurately in accordance with state and facility guidelines
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control policies
