Expand your radiologic imaging career in a dynamic and supportive acute care environment. This contract opportunity is centered within a 137-bed, Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center that serves as a pivotal hub for comprehensive healthcare services—including cardiology, orthopedics, surgery, OBGYN, and more. As a CT Imaging specialist, you’ll join a highly skilled team and contribute to patient care provided in a state-of-the-art facility that proudly supports the heart of Northern Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by providers
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
  • Adhere to safety protocols and professional standards to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist with patient positioning and provide reassurance throughout procedures
  • Maintain equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate maintenance as needed

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekly orientation on Mondays

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CT Imaging Tech in an acute care setting preferred
  • ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment
  • Must reside at least 60 miles away from facility to meet travel requirements
