Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with full-time hours
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure in CT Imaging required
- Prior experience performing CT scans in an acute care or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and imaging protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiology teams and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent attention to detail and patient-focused approach
- BLS certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes
- Review and verify physician orders, explain procedures to patients, and document imaging records accurately
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards
- Assist with quality control and participate in department meetings as needed
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical personnel regarding patient care and imaging findings
