CT Technologist - Sanford, North Carolina

Step into a vital imaging role and contribute to the quality care delivered at a dynamic, 137-bed acute care hospital accredited as a Primary Stroke Center. As a skilled CT professional, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting a comprehensive range of services, including cardiology, orthopedic care, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, emergency services, gastroenterology, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and specialized wound care.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient in CT imaging, with demonstrated experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Current and valid professional certification (ARRT-CT or equivalent)
• Strong technical skills operating advanced imaging equipment and performing high-quality diagnostic scans
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and radiation standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
• Positive patient interaction and ability to provide compassionate care
• Flexibility to adapt to hospital workflow and priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate CT imaging procedures per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Verify patient identity and clinical indication prior to procedures
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting minor malfunctions as necessary
• Appropriately position patients for optimal diagnostic results
• Adhere to established protocols, contributing to the hospital’s commitment to high-quality imaging outcomes
• Document procedures and maintain timely, complete records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care
