An outstanding opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide high-quality care as a CT Technologist during the night shift. In this contract role, you will utilize your imaging expertise to perform specialized CT procedures in an acute care setting, supporting both emergency department and inpatient needs.
Schedule:
- Night shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CA Rad License)
- Certification in Venipuncture
- ARRT credentials: Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R), Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Demonstrated proficiency operating GE CT units
- Experience conducting emergency department (ED) and inpatient (IP) imaging studies, including CTA and perfusion scans
- Excellent technical abilities and strong communication skills
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document advanced CT imaging procedures for ED and inpatient populations, including specialized studies such as CTA and perfusion exams
- Ensure accurate positioning, technique selection, and adherence to safety protocols to achieve optimal diagnostic images
- Assist physicians and care teams with rapid turnaround in emergent or critical care situations
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, particularly GE CT systems, troubleshooting issues as needed
- Apply venipuncture skills safely and efficiently to prepare patients for contrast-enhanced studies
- Deliver compassionate care, providing clear instructions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and organizational policies related to imaging and patient care
