Elevate patient care by utilizing advanced imaging technology in a dynamic medical environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional skilled in CT and CT/PET procedures who is passionate about accurate diagnostics and compassionate patient interaction.
Schedule:
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Nights: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist with CT and CT/PET expertise
- ARRT (CT) or NMTCB certification required
- Previous experience working with PET/CT preferred
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, quality assurance, and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET and CT scans, ensuring precision and patient comfort throughout the process
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for optimal interpretation
- Maintain imaging equipment and monitor for proper function and safety compliance
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results into electronic medical records
- Prepare and administer appropriate contrast materials as needed
- Respond promptly to patient needs, prioritizing safety and professionalism at all times
