Professionals skilled in CT and X-ray imaging are needed for an engaging contract opportunity as a Radiologic Technologist. This position offers a rotating schedule, providing both day and night shifts for a well-rounded experience and optimal work-life balance.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • One overnight shift per month: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 1–2 weekends per month

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
  • Advanced certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted state license as a Radiologic Technologist
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in CT and X-ray/imaging procedures
  • Proven proficiency with imaging equipment and digital PACS
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered
  • Accurately position patients and explain procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain equipment, inventory, and ensure adherence to cleanliness and infection control standards
  • Accurately document procedures and support timely reporting
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or technical issues
  • Rotate through various shifts and participate in weekend and occasional overnight coverage
