CT Technologist in Schertz, TX

Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional skilled in both CT and X-ray technology. This contract role offers a dynamic and varied work environment, ideally suited for an adaptable and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist.

Schedule:

• Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• One overnight shift per month (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 1-2 weekends per month

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid state licensure to perform radiologic procedures
• Demonstrated expertise in CT and X-ray imaging
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Ability to work various shifts as required, including nights and weekends
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to safety, quality assurance, and accurate record-keeping

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process
• Assess image quality, adjusting equipment settings as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support timely, accurate diagnoses
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of imaging suites and equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and self
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records
