Contribute your expertise in imaging and patient care by performing computed tomography (CT) scans and related imaging procedures in a vibrant healthcare setting. The role involves operating state-of-the-art CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and collaborating closely with radiologists and clinical staff. You will serve patients from adolescence through geriatric age groups, ensuring both comfort and imaging accuracy while adhering strictly to privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT: R.T. R or R.T. RCTARRT) required
  • State of California Radiologic Technologist license required
  • Advanced Certification in CT preferred
  • Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
  • Fluoroscopy license and Venipuncture certification preferred
  • Proficiency in ARRT Radiography or Computed Tomography (ARRT-R or ARRT-CT) required

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; specifics to be discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and other imaging equipment to produce and process diagnostic images
  • Prepare and care for patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Create sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
  • Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for secure image transfer
  • Document imaging procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and manage billing data
  • Perform equipment maintenance and manage inventory of supplies
  • Adhere to HIPAA and all patient confidentiality regulations
  • Contribution to a safe working environment, participating in required vaccination programs
