A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled CT/PET Technologist with expertise in imaging to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting dedicated to quality diagnostics and patient service.
Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
- Nights: 8:00pm – 6:30am (Sunday through Wednesday)
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active BLS and ACLS credentials
- Proven experience in both CT and PET imaging modalities
- Ability to work night shifts reliably
- Commitment to patient safety and exceptional imaging quality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to perform diagnostic examinations as ordered by physicians
- Ensure accurate positioning and technical factors to achieve optimal image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care
- Safeguard patients by strictly following all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with institutional policies
- Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
- Support a positive, patient-focused atmosphere during evening and overnight hours
