CT Tech CT Technologist in South Charleston, WV

Step into a vital role performing CT imaging at a modern healthcare facility with a 218-bed capacity. This contract opportunity centers on delivering high-quality imaging services for patients of all ages, utilizing the latest CT technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Midnight shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call or standby expectations
• Rotating weekend coverage
• No holiday requirements

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification required
• At least two years of recent CT experience
• IV placement skills necessary
• Ability to obtain a West Virginia radiology license after interview and offer
• Dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate care for all age groups
• Must adhere to department uniform standards: black scrubs and uniform jacket (no hoodies)

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered
• Evaluate image quality and collaborate with physicians regarding findings
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines
• Manage patient workflow efficiently, providing clear communication and support
• Participate in a department-specific orientation led by the Lead Tech
• Ensure proper documentation and electronic imaging records are maintained
