CT Technologist - South Sioux City, NE

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist with CT modality certification
• Additional credentials in PET imaging strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols, anatomy, and cross-sectional imaging
• Proficient in the operation of CT and PET/CT equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient communication and teamwork
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and combined CT/PET imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Review physician instructions and patient medical histories prior to procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure proper image acquisition and optimal workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor equipment functionality, perform basic maintenance, and report issues promptly
• Utilize infection control and radiation safety measures throughout all procedures
