CT Technologist | Staten Island, New York

Seeking a skilled professional with experience in both CT and CT/PET imaging for an immediate contract opportunity. This position provides a dynamic work environment utilizing the latest technology to support patient diagnosis and care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, starting as soon as possible
• Standard 8-hour shifts with some holiday coverage required

Key Qualifications:

• Certified and registered in CT technology
• Previous experience working with both CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
• Current compliance with all applicable state and national certification standards
• Proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment and adapting to new technologies
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate and safe imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and quality control of imaging equipment
• Review and assess images for clarity, making adjustments as necessary
• Adhere strictly to all relevant safety standards and infection control policies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for timely, effective patient care
• Document and enter patient data with meticulous attention to detail
