A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional experienced in CT and CT/PET modalities. This part-time contract position is ideal for those seeking a weekend schedule, with hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 4pm. You’ll contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting, supporting patient care and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications & Credentials:

  • Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license required
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • Current CT certification (credentials must be shown on resume)
  • Previous hospital experience in CT and PET/CT imaging
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently on weekends and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and PET/CT equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic scans
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate image acquisition
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Confirm and review orders, verify patient information, and maintain appropriate records
  • Uphold all NYS and hospital compliance standards for imaging
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt to dynamic clinical needs
  • Contribute to a patient-focused environment by providing compassionate care and clear instructions
