Schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York State license in Radiologic Technology is required
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required
- Documented CT certification (please ensure all certifications are clearly listed on your resume)
- Prior experience working in a hospital imaging department is essential
- Strong technical skills in CT and PET imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adherence to safety protocols and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide accurate and timely imaging services
- Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
- Verify physician orders and review patient history for appropriateness of imaging studies
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and adhere to patient privacy standards (HIPAA)
- Monitor imaging equipment function, and arrange for service or troubleshooting as needed
