This part-time contract position is ideal for those seeking a weekend schedule, with hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 4pm. You’ll contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting, supporting patient care and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT certification in Radiography required
- Current CT certification (credentials must be shown on resume)
- Previous hospital experience in CT and PET/CT imaging
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently on weekends and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET/CT equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic scans
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate image acquisition
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
- Confirm and review orders, verify patient information, and maintain appropriate records
- Uphold all NYS and hospital compliance standards for imaging
- Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt to dynamic clinical needs
