Elevate your imaging career in a dynamic healthcare setting, utilizing your expertise in CT and CT/PET technology. This part-time contract opportunity offers specialized hours to fit your schedule: Monday 12AM–8AM and Saturday 12AM–8AM.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State license in Radiologic Technology
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • CT Certification required
  • Proven experience working in a hospital environment
  • Proficiency operating CT and CT/PET equipment, with strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Schedule:

  • Monday: 12AM–8AM
  • Saturday: 12AM–8AM

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET imaging procedures for accurate diagnosis as ordered by clinicians
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Operate imaging equipment, calibrate machines as needed, and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards
  • Review images for technical quality, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to relay findings and ensure accurate patient care
  • Maintain detailed patient records, imaging logs, and documentation as required by facility protocols
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
