Qualifications:
- Active New York State license in Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- CT Certification required
- Proven experience working in a hospital environment
- Proficiency operating CT and CT/PET equipment, with strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Schedule:
- Monday: 12AM–8AM
- Saturday: 12AM–8AM
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET imaging procedures for accurate diagnosis as ordered by clinicians
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Operate imaging equipment, calibrate machines as needed, and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards
- Review images for technical quality, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to relay findings and ensure accurate patient care
- Maintain detailed patient records, imaging logs, and documentation as required by facility protocols
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
