CT Technologist in Staten Island, NY

Schedule:

• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Key Qualifications:

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• CT modality certification
• Prior hospital-based imaging experience required
• Strong competence in CT and PET/CT scan protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scan procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare, position, and communicate with patients to ensure safety, comfort, and accurate imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to facilitate timely and precise diagnostic results
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal function and safety standards
• Adhere to organizational safety and infection control policies
• Document imaging procedures, patient information, and clinical findings accurately
