An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled CT technologist with a strong imaging background to join a healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. This position requires proficiency in performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Schedule:
- Night shift: 6:00 pm – 6:30 am
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- ARRT CT Certification is required
- Previous experience in general radiography
- Demonstrated ability to operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented attitude and reliability during overnight hours
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately position patients and select proper imaging parameters
- Review images for clarity and diagnostic value before submitting for interpretation
- Maintain clear and accurate patient and procedure records
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to support patient care
- Uphold infection control and quality assurance standards at all times
