An opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging department on a 17-week contract assignment. This role focuses on high-quality patient care and the expert performance of CT and radiology procedures using advanced GE, OEC – C-arm, and Carestream portable equipment.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Block scheduling available
  • No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in CT imaging
  • Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
  • Completion of a certified radiologic technologist educational program
  • Proficiency in the operation of GE, OEC – C-arm, and Carestream portable units preferred
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS workflows
  • Strong communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document computerized tomographic procedures, and occasional routine diagnostic radiology exams
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors; monitor for and address any adverse reactions
  • Prepare procedure rooms, maintain stock, and set up sterile equipment as needed
  • Analyze patient anatomy, select and adjust technical factors for proper imaging, and practice effective radiation safety
  • Complete study indexing, documentation, and ensure high-quality image transfers into PACS
  • Assist radiologists during complex sterile procedures, such as biopsies
  • Demonstrate standards of excellence in teamwork, communication, innovation, and diversity awareness
