Seeking a skilled CT Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services on a 13-week contract. The role involves operating advanced CT equipment for high-quality imaging procedures, contributing directly to patient care alongside a dedicated radiology team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 6:00pm – 6:30am
Qualifications:
- ARRT CT Certification required
- Demonstrated experience in general radiography
- Ability to operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety standards
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Properly position patients and operate scanning equipment to produce optimal image quality
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including ALARA principles for radiation safety
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and fellow technologists for smooth workflow
- Ensure accurate documentation in patient records and maintain data integrity
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunction or safety issues
- Deliver compassionate care and address patient questions or concerns throughout procedures
