Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment and acquire quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
• Accurately position patients and utilize proper protocols for various types of CT scans
• Review and confirm imaging orders, prepare patients for exams, and provide clear instructions
• Document patient history, exam specifics, and technical factors within electronic medical records
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed, reporting malfunctions promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver timely and thorough patient care
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control procedures throughout all processes

Qualifications:

• ARRT (CT) certification, or eligibility to obtain, is required
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience as a CT Technologist, with strong competency in all aspects of CT imaging
• Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
