Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare setting
  • Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Registered and in good standing with ARRT or equivalent accrediting organization
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, including radiation safety protocols
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate image capture
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with diverse patient populations
  • Current BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols, ensuring exceptional image quality for diagnostic use
  • Prepare patients for procedures by thoroughly explaining the process and addressing any concerns
  • Maintain patient records and accurately document procedures in electronic systems
  • Administer contrast materials safely when necessary, monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other team members to deliver timely and accurate results
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines throughout all procedures
