Qualifications:

• Certification and proven competency in CT and CT/PET technologies
• Valid ARRT (CT) or NMTCB certification, with appropriate state licensure
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and equipment operation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess image quality
• Effective communication skills for working with both patients and healthcare staff
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a healthcare imaging role preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders, following department protocols
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Operate imaging equipment, accurately adjusting settings to optimize scan quality
• Evaluate images for technical quality, reporting findings as appropriate
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational policies
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns
