This opportunity involves a 13-week assignment as a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist, beginning in June. The role primarily supports oncology and cardiac PET imaging, utilizing Siemens equipment and an RB82 generator. Experience with the RB82 is highly valued, though onboarding and training will be provided for the right candidate.
Schedule:
- Day shift – No weekends required
- Alternating weekly schedule:
- Week 1: 5 days per week
- Week 2: 3 days per week
- Variable shifts between 8 and 10 hours
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
- ARRT(N) (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification required
- Vermont state radiology license (applicants may apply while in process but must be willing to obtain)
- Clinical background in oncology and/or cardiac PET imaging; experience with RB82 generator a plus, but not required if willing to train
- Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment preferred
- Must possess strong communication skills and proven record as a collaborative team player
- Ability and willingness to float between sites as needed (Stowe, Berlin, Rutland)
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality PET/CT and cardiac nuclear medicine procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging process
- Independently operate Siemens imaging systems
- Implement protocols for oncology and cardiac PET imaging
- Adapt efficiently to different facility settings and collaborate across teams
- Maintain accurate imaging records in compliance with all regulatory standards
