Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a CT Technologist
  • Strong proficiency in operation of CT imaging equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality scans following department protocols
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent patient communication and care skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and PACS systems

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans utilizing proper positioning, imaging techniques, and radiation safety
  • Verify patient identification and review medical history relevant to orders
  • Prepare and administer contrast agents according to physician protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any operational issues promptly
  • Complete accurate imaging documentation and input into electronic records
  • Prioritize patients’ safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
