Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Demonstrated proficiency in both CT and PET imaging modalities
• Prior experience operating CT scanners and PET equipment
• Knowledge of proper imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiation safety
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to clinical quality standards
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment efficiently and accurately
• Evaluate imaging results for satisfactory quality prior to submission for physician interpretation
• Document procedures, complete electronic health records, and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other care team members regarding patient needs and exam results
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control guidelines in all aspects of care

$2,250 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
