Key Qualifications:

• Registered with ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification in Computed Tomography
• Demonstrated expertise in operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures
• Comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
• Adherence to radiology protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Experience with digital PACS systems is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding of the process
• Operate CT scanner and peripheral devices to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical indications
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value, retaking images as necessary for optimal results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and departmental standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to relay findings and assist with complex cases
• Perform routine quality control checks and assist with equipment maintenance

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
