CT Tech Computed Tomography Tech | Templeton, California

Step into a vital imaging role performing advanced CT procedures with a focus on patient care and diagnostic excellence. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and requires a skilled CT technologist ready to deliver top-notch imaging services.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Call requirement: 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm, following the shift, two nights per week

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT registration (CT specialty)
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Fluoroscopy certification
• IV start certification
• Experience operating Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• Previous x-ray imaging proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate CT scans and general x-ray procedures for patients across various departments
• Operate the Siemens 64 Somatom scanner and related imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Administer IV contrast safely and monitor patients for response
• Follow established protocols and safety standards, including fluoroscopy guidelines
• Manage imaging workflow efficiently during regular and on-call hours
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
