CT Tech CT Technologist - Traverse City, Michigan

Take on a key role supporting patient care within a medical imaging department, utilizing your technical expertise and attention to detail as a CT Technologist. In this contract position, you'll operate advanced imaging equipment and provide crucial diagnostic support for clinicians.

Shift/Schedule:

• Evenings: 2pm – 10pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current certification from ARRT(CT)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Familiarity with Canon and GE CT scanners highly preferred
• Experience in a clinical imaging environment, particularly with computed tomography (CT)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure image quality and accuracy for diagnostic interpretation
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Prepare and position patients for scans; explain procedures and address concerns empathetically
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
• Document all procedures, observations, and outcomes accurately
