CT Tech Computed Tomography Tech | Traverse City, Michigan

Take on a rewarding contract assignment utilizing your expertise in CT imaging. This opportunity calls for a dedicated imaging professional skilled in operating CT equipment and delivering accurate, prompt diagnostic results.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Five 8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday: 6:30am – 2:30pm)
• Every fourth weekend coverage

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(CT) certification is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience using Canon and GE CT scanners strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, image quality assessment, and CT safety protocols
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and communicate clearly with both patients and colleagues
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of imaging accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, with a focus on both Canon and GE systems
• Accurately prepare and position patients for scans
• Document patient information and imaging findings per hospital and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Respond effectively during emergent situations and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed promptly
