A reputable healthcare organization seeks an experienced professional to provide skilled imaging services specializing in CT and PET/CT technology. This contract role is well-suited for individuals who are highly proficient in operating advanced diagnostic equipment and who deliver quality patient care during imaging procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) required.
  • Experience with PET/CT imaging preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in performing a variety of CT examinations with safe and accurate methods.
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic medical record-keeping.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and clinical teams.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety, responding to any immediate needs.
  • Accurately process and archive imaging data for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential patient records.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control policies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring medical staff for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure the imaging suite is clean, stocked, and ready for each procedure.
