CT Technologist - Trussville, Alabama

Seeking an experienced imaging professional with expertise in CT and CT/PET technology to support advanced diagnostic care on a contract basis. This critical role will provide accurate, high-quality imaging services that contribute to timely patient diagnoses and support clinical teams.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT specialty certification required
• Previous experience working as a CT or CT/PET Technologist in a clinical or hospital environment
• Proficient in the operation of CT/PET scanners and related imaging equipment
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and infection control procedures
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced medical settings and collaborate smoothly with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, provide clear explanations, and ensure comfort throughout each exam
• Review and verify imaging orders, confirming relevant patient history and contraindications
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting parameters as needed for each case
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and communicate maintenance needs appropriately

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
