Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in CT and PET/CT imaging technology (ARRT or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT/PET protocols
- Demonstrated experience operating imaging equipment safely and accurately
- Proficiency in performing CT and PET scans as ordered by physicians
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail in image analysis and documentation
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Operate CT and PET/CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Follow established protocols for all imaging studies
- Accurately document patient histories and scan details in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate with radiologists and other medical professionals regarding patient care and imaging results
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of imaging equipment and work area
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and facility regulations at all times

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
