Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registry as a CT Technologist; certification in PET imaging is strongly preferred
• Valid state licensure to practice as required by regulatory authority
• Proven experience operating and maintaining CT and PET imaging equipment
• Proficient in patient positioning, image acquisition, and radiation safety protocols
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria for advanced cross-sectional imaging
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established imaging protocols
• Demonstrates compassionate communication and collaboration with patients, physicians, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt and function in a fast-paced, evolving clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for CT and CT/PET examinations in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
• Review images for diagnostic adequacy and communicate findings to radiologists and healthcare providers as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record system
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout the exam
• Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety regulations at all times
