Step into a vital role supporting patient care by operating advanced CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues. This contract opportunity requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, providing essential imaging services in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R or ARRT-CT required)
  • State of California Radiologic Technologist licensure required
  • Advanced CT certification preferred in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
  • Fluoroscopy license and venipuncture certification preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of PACS and teleradiology systems
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and additional imaging procedures, ensuring accurate, high-quality results for adolescent through geriatric patients
  • Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
  • Accurately transfer images utilizing PACS/teleradiology systems
  • Maintain patient records, imaging files, and associated data with the utmost integrity and attention to privacy
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment, managing supplies as needed
  • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and organizational policies, including annual vaccination requirements
  • Support other clinical/operational duties as assigned
