Take your imaging expertise to the next level as you provide critical CT and PET/CT services in a dynamic hospital environment. In this contract role, you will work with advanced imaging technology, collaborate with skilled professionals, and make a meaningful difference for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour night shifts
  • 6:45 pm – 7:15 am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Review imaging requests, verify patient identification, and explain procedures to patients.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Follow all hospital protocols, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
  • Document procedures, maintain equipment, and assist with quality control as required.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to urgent imaging needs during night shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience performing CT and PET/CT exams in a clinical setting.
  • ARRT (CT) certification (or equivalent), with active state licensure as required.
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques.
  • High attention to detail with excellent patient care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team during overnight hours.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle emergent and routine cases.
