Seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment providing high-quality imaging services. This role focuses on operating CT equipment and supporting patient needs, with opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative radiology department.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
- Specific days to be arranged during the interview process
Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license
- Previous experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
- Solid understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians in compliance with department protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
- Operate CT equipment, apply proper techniques, and monitor image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to high-quality patient care
- Follow all regulatory guidelines related to imaging procedures and patient privacy
