CT Technologist in Universal City, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating schedule with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• One overnight shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) required per month
• 1-2 weekends per month

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Competency in performing CT and X-ray imaging procedures
• State license (or eligibility) as required for radiologic technology
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures as ordered by healthcare providers
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain safe operation standards at all times
• Accurately document patient information and scan results using appropriate systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality images
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and workplace
• Adhere to protocols for radiation safety and infection prevention
