Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Active registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – ARRT-R or ARRT-CT required
- Current Radiologic Technologist RT certification in California
- Advanced certification in CT preferred in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certification preferred in California
- Experience operating CT equipment, producing cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate imaging services for adolescent through geriatric patients
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
- Ensure proper transfer of images using PACS and teleradiology systems
- Maintain precise records, files, and adhere to imaging data integrity standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory
- Uphold strict compliance with all relevant regulations, including patient privacy and infection control policies
- Carry out additional job-related tasks as required
