Advance your imaging career as a CT/PET Technologist in a dynamic, high-acuity hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week engagement with a leading teaching hospital recognized as a Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center. You’ll serve a diverse patient mix of inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases, working with state-of-the-art technology in an inclusive department.
Schedule & Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
- 36 hours per week
- No on-call or weekend rotation
- Holiday coverage required (75% of holidays during contract)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of CT technologist experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification and BLS credential
- Proven IV start competency
- Experience with EPIC EMR, Philips PACS, GE scanners preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients
- Ensure proper documentation and patient care using EPIC EMR
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and support accurate, timely diagnostics
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care
- Adhere to department protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies
- Wear black scrubs as part of the department uniform
