Make a meaningful impact as an expert in CT imaging, supporting patient care in a dynamic environment. This 17-week contract opportunity is best suited for professionals confident in advanced diagnostic imaging, patient safety, and teamwork.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Block scheduling available
  • No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent CT tech experience
  • Proficiency with GE, OEC - C-arms, and Carestream Portables
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles (ALARA)
  • Exceptional communication and patient engagement skills
  • Experience with PACS and RIS systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans and assist with occasional diagnostic radiology exams
  • Explain exam procedures to patients and ensure patient preparation and safety throughout
  • Accurately review clinical requisitions and supplement with additional patient information as needed
  • Set up equipment, perform imaging, and administer intravenous contrast while monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Assist radiologists during sterile and complex diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies
  • Prepare, stock, and maintain procedure room supplies
  • Implement radiation protection protocols for all imaging activities
  • Troubleshoot PACS imaging issues, verify image quality and data integrity
  • Complete accurate medical and radiology information system documentation
  • Demonstrate professional standards: inclusive communication, responsiveness, positivity, innovation, and respect for team diversity
