Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in CT/PET (or eligibility)
- State of Michigan licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in CT imaging preferred
- Experience with contrast media administration and monitoring for reactions
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible travel assignment—specific schedules may vary by shift and department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and calibrate CT and PET imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality
- Prepare and position patients, applying safety standards and proper lifting techniques
- Collect and verify patient information and relevant history for accurate imaging
- Administer IV contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions, providing support during emergencies
- Assist radiologists and specialists with complex procedures, demonstrating adaptability and skill
- Maintain digital records, uphold regulatory standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor new personnel and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Ensure equipment integrity and workplace cleanliness
