An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced CT/PET Technologist in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Start as soon as possible and provide critical imaging services during a 13-week contract. The position is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity environments and bring technical expertise to the table.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 x 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 pm – 3:30 am
  • Rotating weekly schedule:
    • Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
    • Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
  • 40 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements
  • Weekend shifts included

Qualifications:

  • Active RT(R)(CT) registry
  • Current Rhode Island licensure (obtainable within 3-4 weeks if not already held)
  • BLS certification
  • Experience operating Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice scanners
  • Comfort using EPIC (preferred), GE PACS (preferred), and Medrad injectors
  • Compliance with COVID, booster, and flu vaccination requirements (medical declination accepted only for booster, no religious declinations)
  • Strong communication and adaptability, especially in emergency scenarios

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging primarily in an emergency room environment
  • Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient care
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information using hospital systems
  • Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols
  • Assist in maintaining operational efficiency and equipment readiness
